3 Days Zanzibar Holiday: Stone Town, Spice Plantations & Nungwi Beach
The Zanzibar archipelago is located in the Indian Ocean approximately 35 km of the coast of Tanzania mainland. Zanzibar is an excellent place to relax after doing a safari or climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The island is home to strikingly beautiful white sand beaches where a number of water sports can be undertaken; the sports include snorkeling, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, water skiing and sailing local wooden dhows.
Zanzibar is also a land of spices; here you can visit spice plantations and experience what spices and herbs that make Zanzibar world famous. In Zanzibar you can also embark on a number of excursions where you will learn about events that shaped the history of Zanzibar; such excursions include following the trails of explorers, sultans, and slaves in the winding streets of Stone Town.
Arrival Day: Airport/Harbour - Hotel in Stone Town
We will drive from the airport or harbour to your hotel; in the evening you will enjoy a traditional swahili dinner in Stone Town before a restful night back at the hotel.
Day 1: Stone Town - Spice Plantations - Nungwi Beach
After breakfast at your hotel you will be guided through stone town where you will observed world heritage historical sites while learning about historical events that cemented Zanzibar;s place in history by following the trails of Slaves, explorers, missionaries and Arab Sultans.
Day 2 & 3: Full Day at Nungwi Beach
On these two days you will get to experience the white sand beaches at Nungwi. The recipe here includes but not limited to basking in the sun, head out for a swim in the ocean and enjoying soothing breezes from the Indian Ocean.
Departure Day: Nungwi Beach - Airport/Harbour
On this day breakfast will be served at the hotel then we will transfer you to the airport or harbor ready to catch your flight back home or ferry back to Dar es Salaam.
