Tarangire is a land where elephants roam free in the shadows of giant baobab trees. This place is one of the best places in Africa to see elephants up close because they are accustomed to vehicles and do not shy away from humans. Apart from elephants this park is home to masai giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, impalas, hippos, warthogs, spotted hyenas and resident lions; you may also spot the tree climbing pythons of Tarangire

Today, after breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch boxes, overningt at a lodge in Karatu.
Lake Manyara is a small park dominated by a shallow extensive alkaline lake; the park is home to colonies of flamingos, giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, hippos, zebras, warthogs, resident lions and elephants. You may also spot the famous tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara; cheetahs and leopards can also be spotted rarely. Colonies of monkeys and baboons call the forests in this park home.
(On this day, you can choose to visit Lake Manyara or Hadzabe Community at lake Eyas)
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Inside the world’s largest unflooded caldera(approximately 20 km wide, 600 meters deep and 300 km2 in area) you will be able to spot the big five - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and herds of buffalos within a few hours. Waterbucks, elands, bushbucks, grant’s gazelles, thompson gazelles, hyenas and a collection of birds species call the crater home as well.

In the Serengeti you will experience thousands of wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, impalas, antelopes and gazelles moving and grazing across the great savannah. Predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs are never far behind; they are always following in the shadows of the trekking herds. If you are lucky while in the Serengeti you will most likely experience a hunt in action
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Full day will be spent exploring the vast Serengeti plains. Meals and overnight at the camp/Lodge in Serengeti.
The areas you will visit depend on the location of the trekking herds. Around November and December during the short rains the herds move from the northern hills into the southern plains; during the long rainy season of April and June the herds move back to the northern hills of the Serengeti. The migration depends on rains hence locations of herds may vary from year to year but our guides know where to find the animals and the where the best vantage points can be found.
